A child durably reports failure, host cleanup begins, and then SIGTERM arrives. Which result should the wrapper report?

Working model

Precedence should follow event order and ownership, not the order in which cleanup happens to inspect variables. If the child result was complete and durable before cleanup began, a later cleanup-time signal matters after success but should not replace that earlier authoritative failure.

A useful order for this proven sequence is: captured host failure; completed child failure; first cleanup-time signal; first cleanup failure; success.

This is not universal. If the child result was still provisional or buffered, the signal may be the first authoritative result.
